Five Steps to Becoming a Professional Reflexologist
STEP 1 - Principles & Practices Of Complementary Therapies
Start by learning about the industry, your roles and responsibilities as a professional practitioner. You will learn about the key historical factors and theoretical background for complementary therapies; the main influences on working within the complementary therapy industry and the key aspects of good clinical practice
Online Learning
This module is delivered through an online portal, where you will have open access to all your learning material. You will be in a support group where you will have a study buddy and access to educators for constant support. In addition, there are group zoom sessions to help progress you through learning and assignments.
Treatment Management
Much learning is through practical application, discussion, exploration with treatments performed on each other until safe correct techniques have been mastered. You will then progress to working on clients and will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of your treatments and complete task work quickly during the course.
Step 2 - Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology
This is an E-learning course and can start at any point throughout the year. You will have open access to all the materials so can study at your own pace under the support of your educator through zoom revision lessons and WhatsApp community support. Start this module before the practice to give you a head start if you wish. Take the exam at any point during your learning journey.

Step 3 - Practical Reflexology
Join our Practical Reflexology Classes for 12 weeks, starting 3 times a year.
Skill Development
For the first 6 weeks, you will learn the routine, explore the treatment protocols and develop your treatment management. Learn effective consultation techniques ready to perform complete treatments.
Reflective Practice
The next 6 weeks are spent developing professional practice skills, exploring & reflecting on real case studies. During this time, you will take written and practical assessments.
Step 4 - Reflective Practice
Now you have completed your skills and knowledge assessments and can focus on putting it all together to develop your professional reflective practice. You will carry out an additional 14 case studies (don’t panic, we can help you find suitable clients)
No Time Limits
You are on your own time-scales. There is no pressure to complete within a certain time frame or to have to work at anyone else’s pace. We are with you all the way guiding and supporting you through and set benchmarks along the way.
Presentation
When you’re ready, you present your case studies to be moderated for your professional practice qualification.
Step 5 - Build a Business
Having a qualification is just the first step to creating the career and business you deserve; you now need to learn the skills to market and promote yourself, create a band, identify your ideal client and what problem you will solve for them.
